Arthritis is an autoimmune disease that causes a lot of pain to the patient, especially along the joints where inflammation usually occurs. This disease happens to be one of the major causes of disability in the US.

1. Whole Grains: Chia seeds, brown rice, oatmeal, whole wheat are only some of the whole grains that are really beneficial for the treatment of arthritis, and reduction of joint pain.
These whole grains are able to reduce the levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), which causes inflammation when present in high amounts inside the body. CPR has been noted to be related with diabetes and arthritis, and whole grains have the ability to lower its amounts.
So, if you want to eat bread, go for whole wheat loaves rather than white. Eat brown or wild rice instead of white, and be careful to reduce your intake of butter, sugar, and unhealthy foods.
